Shaykh Sulaiman Gani
He was born in South Africa and studied in Pakistan for three years developing a passion for Arabic/ Islamic Studies. He spent two years living and studying in Cairo.
He studied Islamic Studies at the Medina University in Saudi Arabia, one of the most prestigious of its kind. He was the only South African admitted to the Faculty of Hadith in 1994 despite the competition for places. He spent four years immersed in scholarly learning of the origins and interpretations of the Hadith.
He later joined tha School of Oriental Arts and Science (SOAS) at the University of London, where he gained an MA in Islamic Studies.
He is currently an Imam at Purley Masjid and the director of Al Khaleel Institute.
We are honored that we have Shaykh Sulaiman Gani as our Shariah Adviser. He has authenticated that our Islamic Wills are in accordance with Islamic Inheritance.
Shaykh Sulaiman Gani has kindly agreed to help us to launch a national Islamic Wills awareness campaign. He is an expert in Islamic Inheritance and regularly holds courses teaching the Fiqh of Islamic Inheritance.
Al Khaleel Institute
This is a non-profit organisation setup by Shaykh Sulaiman Gani to promote and educate the importance of Islamic Inheritance, preparation for Hajj and Umrah and teaching Arabic.
